Thread Drawings

These drawings are either machine or hand stitched. I use my sewing machine as a drawing tool. I often look at photographs as I draw but rarely do I pre-mark my fabric.

My hand stitched drawings are generally done in situ in order to capture the best proportions, most active lines, and the most joy.
